According to La Parisienne, Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel have confirmed through their publicists that they have separated. They’ve been married 14 years. They have 2 daughters, Deva (2004) and Leonie (2010).
Many people have long assumed that Bellucci and Cassel had an open marriage. She once said that she wouldn’t expect him to stay faithful if he hadn’t seen her in two months. In her mind, passion and partnership are distinct. Passion happens, and is fleeting. To her, at the time, their partnership, their true compatibility shouldn’t and wouldn’t be affected by a physical relationship with someone else. This understanding, she described, was the “elegance” in their relationship – to be happy together when they are together, and as long as that’s maintained, nothing else matters. (Source)
The elegance has clearly come to an end. In more ways than one. These two were suuuuuuch an elegant, sexy as f-ck couple.
