As part of his cover feature in June’s GQ, Chris Pratt filmed a little comedy segment for the internet in which he gives acting lessons, except he got hammered and started the bit by saying he’s too drunk to do the bit. He then proceeds to do the bit while being obviously three sheets to the wind. Full Story
Buzzfeed posted a photo on Twitter yesterday that made me hug myself. The Khaleesi and Neville Longbottom!

It came from Matthew Lewis’s Instagram. They’re working together on Me Before You which, presumably, is the film adaptation of Jojo Moyes’s novel of the same name. I wrote about Me Before You in January 2013; after two more readings since then I still can’t decide how I feel about it. But as a movie, it has the potential to become what Nicholas Sparks books-to-movies used to be. You remember how you left the theatre ugly-sobbing after The Notebook? This is what will happen when Me Before You comes out.
By the way, Neville is not playing the male lead. He is, however, showing you his abs and his junk on the cover of Attitude Magazine. I don’t like my Neville when he’s trying to be Justin Bieber and/or Scott Eastwood.
Yours in gossip,
Holy sh-t it's been one drama after another for Johnny Depp in Australia. And it's not like Australia is unwelcoming of celebrities. As Nicole pointed out in an email to me this morning, when Brange was there last year for Unbroken, they were beloved by the Aussie public. That said, they weren't constantly threatening to bail or compromising the country's quarantine. Full Story

More photos from the Atlanta set of Captain America: Civil War, including Scarlett Johansson sporting what I think is Black Widow’s best-ever wig, and Paul Rudd reporting to set. Rudd will make his debut as Ant-Man in a couple months, but he’s already moving up the ranks to full-blown Avenger for Civil War. Full Story

Tom Cruise is currently in Atlanta working on Mena. Here he is on set yesterday showing off a gap in his teeth, obviously for the character. He’s playing Barry Seal, a real life pilot in the 80s who became a drug smuggler. Seal was supposedly a really big dude. Like 300 lbs. So initially everyone was thinking Tom would gain some weight. And I mean EVERYONE, up to and including the stunt doubles. Filming for Captain America: Civil War continues and more set photos are coming out of Atlanta—hilariously doubling for Nigeria—and we’ve got more of Chris Evans looking like a life-size action figure in his Cap suit, and better shots of Anthony Mackie in Falcon’s new souped-up gear, and though we can see Elizabeth Olsen’s wig action, there still isn’t a good look at her second generation Scarlet Witch costume. Yesterday while procrastinating on deadline and messing around on the internet (OK fine, creeping Brandon Flowers), I somehow came across this page, about whether or not Jennifer Lawrence could be the new Thor. Please don’t ask me how I went from Brandon Flowers to Jennifer Lawrence as Thor because I don’t even know the answer, the internet is a wild thing. Full Story
Emily Blunt has been to Cannes for a few parties here and there. But I don’t recall ever seeing her at the Palais, representing her own film. It’s well worth the wait though as she was joined by Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin today at the photo call for Denis Villeneuve’s Sicario, in competition at the festival and receiving solid reviews so far, particularly for Emily’s performance and her role to begin with.
