Lainey said this week was supposed to be about the Brange, but then Adele said “Hello” and the takeover belongs to Adele. A similar thing happened for nerds this week, too, as we were set up for a big profile on Superhero Face Punch courtesy Total Film magazine, but then Star Wars happened and no one cares about anything else anymore. Full Story

Sarah Posted by Sarah at October 23, 2015 16:51:28 October 23, 2015 16:51:28

Two years ago Natalie Portman’s vanity project, Jane Got a Gun, ran into a lot of problems. After a hella troubled period that saw the original director, Lynn Ramsay, leave the project on the first day of production, followed by leading man Jude Law, and then a slew of potential replacements filtered through Joel Edgerton finally took the spot opposite Portman. Full Story

The world premiere of Spectre is on Monday in London. The movie will open in North America a couple of weeks later. The junkets and major press commitments are happening now. Here are shots of the cast at a photo call today. And Daniel Craig, James Bond himself, is smiling in so many of them. Maybe relief? The first reviews are pretty good. Full Story

Leonardo DiCaprio, Badass has arrived, in the form of his first one-on-one interview about The Revenant. His feral press tour kicked off this week with Yahoo! - that’s where Leo explains why he grew that thing on his face for months and the many, many challenges he’s willing to take on for his craft and — for those reading between the lines — what could become his first Oscar win. Full Story
