Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried were filmed kissing on the set of Ted 2 today. Emily, our site coordinator, sent me these photos in an email with the title “This creeps me out”. It’s true. I don’t want to see them kissing. It’s not that I don’t want to see them kissing anyone. Full Story

Shutting down Say Anything

Deadline reported yesterday that NBC was moving ahead with a TV show based on Say Anything. It’s 10 years later but also 2014. (I don’t understand either, but OK.) Lloyd is single because Diane dumped him but now she’s coming back into town and he tries to get her back. Full Story

Bradley Cooper: 3 for 3?

Here's Bradley Cooper arriving in London. Hair's getting long. Since the American Sniper trailer came out people have now added it to the Oscar long list of contenders. That happens any time Clint Eastwood directs a movie. He's not young anymore, that guy. And it'll be his second directorial release this year. Full Story

Jennifer Lawrence covers Vanity Fair

Sh-t I just realised. It’s mid-October already. Which means Mockingjay Part 1 comes out in just over a month. So we should be getting a lot of Jennifer Lawrence on press tour, starting with the cover of Vanity Fair. It’s the first time she’s been interviewed extensively since the nude photo hack. Full Story

Jake & Naomi, Jake & Lucy

But no Jake & Rachel…at least not yet. A thoughtful Jake Gyllenhaal was working on Demolition at Coney Island yesterday shooting some scenes on his own before frolicking on the beach with co-star Naomi Watts. God he is handsome. And even though I know f-ck all about superheroes, I agree with Sarah’s wish-list for Dr Strange now that Joaquin Phoenix has dropped out. Full Story

Understanding Jen understanding Ben

Vulture posted some Gossip Nostalgia yesterday that pretty much explains everything about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. It’s a video from 2003 featuring Kevin Smith and the cast of Daredevil. If you have time, you should watch the whole thing and – I think – you’ll find yourself relating to Colin Farrell who does probably the least amount of talking (because Ben is ALWAYS talking and if it’s not Ben it’s Kevin) and at times looks pained having to listen to these Hollywood narcissists indulge themselves about themselves. Full Story

Joanna sent me a link from ONTD this morning - third week of September, a fan posted these photos from the set of Demolition, starring Jake Gyllenhaal. You have to scroll down that link to see the shots in question but Rachel McAdams is in a couple of them even though she’s not in the movie. Full Story

Great f-cking!

I found this on Gawker today: BTS of a sex scene between Brooklyn Decker and Patrick Wilson (not a novice when it comes to sex scenes) directed by Joe Carnahan in the film Stretch. I’ve written before about how I’m super into movie sex when it’s done well. Full Story

Amy IS amazing

Beware spoilers… Rosamund Pike delivers. Amy Dunne is the best part of Gone Girl. But… Amy is F-CKED. She is a psychopath. A sociopath. She is sick, she is twisted, she is evil. Is she? And if she is… so what? We glorify anti-heroes all the time. Michael Corleone is a cultural icon. Full Story

Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne

Like I said in the open, I have to see Gone Girl again to really figure out how I feel about it beyond that I think it’s better than the book. When you go though, if you haven’t yet, make sure you build in time afterwards, over coffee or a drink, to talk about it at length with the people/person you see it with. Full Story

Sienna supports Tom

Sienna Miller supported her partner Tom Sturridge at the London premiere of Effie Gray this weekend in London. Great print on that dress. They seem happy and relaxed together. Not that it’s any of my goddamn business but I’m relieved to see that. Professionally, it’s not a good time for Sienna to get restless. Full Story
