As expected, Brad Pitt represented Brange on his own last night at the Hollywood premiere of Unbroken because of the Jolie’s chicken pox. His parents were there. And also three of their six children – Maddox, Pax, and the Chosen One Shiloh. It’s Brad’s birthday on Thursday. Full Story

A trailer for Terrence Malick’s Knight Of Cups was released yesterday. It’s expected to be screened in competition at the Berlin Film Festival in February. Knight Of Cups was filmed concurrently with another Malick project – the one with Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender, and Rooney Mara about love and the Austin music scene. Full Story

The Critics’ Choice nominations have just been announced. Unbroken in…Foxcatcher out. Angelina Jolie is on the list for Best Directors, Bennett Miller isn’t, and nothing for Steve Carell. Instead they went with Ralph Fiennes in Grand Budapest Hotel and David Oyelowo in Selma. I wonder if it’s because Carell can be a weird interview. Full Story

Fallout from the Sony Hack continues, and it’s no surprise that the news is bad. The people at Sony would probably love it if just once a released cache of data revealed email exchanges about funniest cat videos.
