The first trailer for Exodus: Gods and Kings was released yesterday. Or Gladiator 2 by Ridley Scott. Christian Bale stars as Moses. Joel Edgerton is Ramses. They were brothers. Now they’re adversaries. God’s picking sides. Or you could say Moses is Jon Snow. Except Robb Stark didn’t grow up to hate him. Full Story

Last night Marvel offered a seventeen minute sneak peek of Guardians of the Galaxy in IMAX 3D. They screened the prison break/riot scene featured in the trailers, plus sizzle reels of new footage. It was a good choice to get people hooked—the prison scene is really funny with great action, and it very neatly lays out who these people are, what they want, and why they band together. Full Story

A new full length trailer for Gone Girl was released today. It was preceded by a series of posters put out over the weekend advertising not the film…but the preview. So that’s the marketing strategy for the film: they’re treating it as a theatrical event, a MEGA motion picture release, a MUST SEE MOVIE – not in the summer, but in the fall. Full Story

The first trailer for Before I Go To Sleep, starring Nicole Kid man and Colin Firth, was released yesterday. As many others have observed, it’s Memento meets Fifty First Dates. She goes to bed and when she wakes up, she doesn’t remember anything. And she leaves clues for herself. There’s a mystery. Full Story

The trailer for Behaving Badly starring Selena Gomez came out yesterday. It’s a teen movie. I had to watch it. It met my expectations. Looks terrible. What surprised me was… Mary-Louise Parker. The f-ck is MLP doing in this movie? We all feel the same about MLP, right? Like, love. Full Story

Anne Hathaway stepped out in New York today with her husband, half her hair scraped back in a half ponytail. It’s long enough now. She’s been wearing a long hair wig on the set of The Intern. I totally forgot what her face looks like when it’s being framed. So different. And younger I think? She can do both, easily. Full Story

Check out Jessica Chastain in New York yesterday. I’ve been waiting for some new photos to write about The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby trailer that was released earlier this week. As you know, the film started out as two versions – Her and Him – about a relationship told from both perspectives. Full Story

Maybe it's the humidity, but these photos cracked me up. Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson was in London today to promote his movie Hercules, the second Hercules to come out this year. The first, you recall, or maybe you don't, because Kellan Lutz was in it, buried in January. The Rock is a big box office draw, as you know. Full Story

As mentioned last week, The Notebook celebrated its 10th anniversary last week and Nick Cassavetes, the director, talked to VH1 about some of his memories from the film, providing great insight on the actors, particularly Ryan Gosling. What’s getting the most attention is Cassavetes’ anecdote about the chemistry between Gosling and Rachel McAdams. Full Story

Horrible Bosses was a perfectly serviceable comedy that is most notable for featuring Charlie Day, because Charlie Day is a national treasure and any time he’s on screen it’s worth watching. And since it made $209 million at the box office, it got a sequel, which is due in November. Horrible Bosses 2 reunites Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Day, as well as brings back two of the three bosses from the first movie, Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston. Full Story
