IMDB presented Miles Teller with the STARmeter award yesterday in Toronto where he was also premiering his film Whiplash. Whiplash was a big hit at Sundance and both Miles and JK Simmons have been receiving high praise for their performances. They celebrated last night at the Thompson Hotel rooftop. Full Story

Can you picture the perfectly perky Reese Witherspoon hiking through 1,100 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail to search for herself? She couldn't either -- at first. "I had never seen myself in a movie like that before," said Witherspoon, at the Wild press conference in Toronto. But, Witherspoon's role in Wild is one every actress would salivate over, and is her best performance in nearly a decade. Full Story

I interviewed Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones yesterday at the junket for The Theory Of Everything. As already mentioned, the film is SOOOOOOO good. And their performances are …well…everything. The key here is that the story is told from her perspective. So it’s not really a biopic but a film about partnership. Full Story

Justin Theroux joined Jennifer Aniston this afternoon for the premiere of her new film Cake at TIFF. He’s actually been here a couple of days. Was photographed at the Warner Bros party on Saturday night without her. Today they did not walk the carpet together but agreed to a shot inside.
