Did you read it? Some of you must have. It sold 3 million copies in the US alone and set a record for the most weeks at #1 in the UK. I’ve read The Girl On The Train several times. Robert Downey Jr and Team Iron Man were in Paris earlier this week promoting Captain America: Civil War, technically the third Captain America movie but really the third Avengers movie. If you haven’t already watched the trailer for The Birth of a Nation, you’re going to need a moment. I’ve seen it a few times and I still can’t get through it without crying. After seeing the trailer, which is a work of art, I understand all of the hype this movie received coming out of Sundance. Full Story

Don Cheadle worked for years to get his Miles Davis biopic, Miles Ahead, made. Part of the uphill battle was that he not only wanted to star as Davis, he wanted to write and direct as well. Well his long slog to the finish line paid off, as Cheadle makes his feature film directorial debut with Miles Ahead, in which he stars and also co-wrote (with Steve Baigelman, who also worked on the James Brown biopic, Get On Up). Full Story
