It’s a little early to be talking about the MET Gala but we haven’t yet mentioned this year’s theme or the celebrity co-chairs. Joining Anna Wintour this year for the event will be Nicolas Ghesquiere, Karl Lagerfeld, Miuccia Prada, Idris Elba, Jonathan Ive, and, yes, Taylor Swift. Full Story

Rihanna + Drake v3.0

Lainey Posted by Lainey at February 22, 2016 20:50:54 February 22, 2016 20:50:54

Or is it 4.0? I can’t remember. But let’s come back to that in a minute. First, the videos. Two videos for Rihanna’s Work were released today. And I say this with full bias – because she came to Toronto to shoot at The Real Jerk, where I get an oxtail dinner takeout at least twice a month. Full Story

Zayn Malik made his television debut as a solo artist last night on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Instead of performing Pillowtalk, he chose It’s You, apparently written about ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards. I was surprised by how much I liked Pillowtalk. I was surprised that Zayn delivered. Full Story

Here are these new-ish shots of Charlie Hunnam. And he looks hot. So I wanted to post them yesterday. But then, beyond that, I didn’t have anything to say. I still don’t. During the Grammys, Gwen Stefani shot a live video for her new song Make Me Like You as a commercial for Target. It was like mini-Grease. And it went off beautifully. I mean there are some dodgy lighting and camera focus transitions here and there but they were by no means glaring. Full Story

No one shows up against Beyoncé

That protest that they tried to stage against Beyoncé in response to her Super Bowl performance, remember? It was supposed to happen yesterday at NFL headquarters. Nobody showed up against her. There were more people there who were FOR her though. Meanwhile, on Monday, there was a shooting in Tennessee. Full Story

Dear Gossips,

The New Yorker finally published that long-awaited exposé on TMZ yesterday, have you read it yet? The piece confirms what you probably already know if you live online – that many of TMZ’s sources are celebrities themselves, or at least the people who represent them.  Read Full Intro

Producers of the Grammys confirmed last night that the problems with Adele’s audio were on their end. Apparently a mic got dropped when they were positioning the piano and when they tried to go to a backup feed, there was a sound delay. So, no, it’s not on her. Full Story

The Hollywood Vampires made their big network television debut last night at the Grammys, performing a tribute to Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister. The Hollywood Vampires, as you know, consist of several proper rock legends, and Johnny Depp, a rock legend in his own mind who’s ostensibly been hiding his musical talents behind acting because the world wasn’t ready for so much good. Full Story
