Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 4, 2015 14:45:31 November 4, 2015 14:45:31

“Do you think everyone will be disappointed that I’m happy?” This is what Adele asks Brian Hiatt who wrote the cover article for her new Rolling Stone profile. It’s moments like these that make this interview so special. Because, as we all know now, celebrity interviews, most of the time, are a fake dance agreed upon by all parties – the star, the media, the audience. Full Story

So you know how you start hearing about someone, and then a little more, and then you’re able to say to your friends or your mom, when she asks, “oh you know, she’s kind of the awkward one in teen movies” or etc, and people reconcile the name in their head with the image you present. Full Story

According to Page Six Jeremy Renner is cutting an album. Like beyond the cover songs he does when he jumps up on stage at a bar on Sunset Blvd for kicks now and again. On Tuesday night, he took the stage at Chelsea spot ArtBeam to perform one tune, the Animals’ version of “The House of the Rising Sun” with a band dubbed Brother Sal. Full Story

The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, doesn’t grant many interviews. He tells Rolling Stone that it’s because he never graduated high school and still feels intimidated by those he perceives to be more educated. But this is Rolling Stone. And he’s had a breakthrough year. And how could you turn down the opportunity? The interview is revealing and insightful. Full Story
