My #MockingjayPart2 moment via AmexInvites.ca

A couple of Wednesdays ago I tweeted about going to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 advanced screening at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. This came courtesy of American Express, who is opening its doors to all Canadians this fall to experience the access that American Express Invites and the Front Of The Line program have to offer Cardmembers – the same access I’ve been telling you about all year!

Now, all Canadians have access to exclusive dining experiences at one of Canada’s Best New Restaurants as determined by Air Canada enRoute magazine, pre-sale ticket access to popular artists and, of course an advanced screening of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, which I went to that night.  Check out the view from my seat. It was like a private balcony, how Beyoncé would watch a movie.

Seeing a movie at the Lightbox always makes me feel like I’m at an Academy screening. Like not just a regular theatre but a theatre where cinephiles watch movies. Except I don’t think Academy members care about free water the way I care about free water. We loaded up on free water and popcorn. It was like watching a movie without anyone else there, a private experience. No knuckleheads talking at the screen, predicting what’s going to happen, kicking your chair. It felt VIP all the way.

As an Amex Ambassador, I’ve been telling you about all kinds of experiences similar to this one all year - access to the best concerts through Front Of The Line, tables at the best restaurants booked via the Concierge service, or a seat at the biggest blockbuster premieres.

Not a Cardmember? Not a problem! With Amex opening the doors to American Express Invites to all Canadians, you too have a chance at some of these experiences.  To learn more and to enter for a chance to attend an exclusive dining event at Bar Raval in Toronto, visit AmexInvites.ca between November 26 and December 6 … And, of course, you can also learn more about the ongoing benefits of being an Amex Cardmember.
