Dear Gossips,

There’s nothing like a wedding to make people jizzy. And when it’s a royal wedding? Please. Royal weddings are the best. A royal wedding in the Facebook era... how does that work? Imagine if someone live tweets the wedding? More on this later.  Read Full Intro

Divorce/Not Divorce

TMZ broke the story earlier today that Tony Parker filed for divorce from Eva Longoria. But her publicist is telling CNN and etalk that this is false. Then I went to refresh TMZ’s page and it was replaced by this article. They say they were originally told by two clerks at a courthouse in Texas that Tony filed and that the documents were sealed by a judge. Full Story

If you missed it, the link to the Prince William/Kate Middleton interview is below. Not sure how long it’ll stay there so watch as soon as you can. Of course I was glued to BBC Online at 11am PT. And this is why I love the British. That was a PERSONAL interview. You can’t do that kind of interview with major movie stars. Full Story

Written by Duana Previously on Gossip Girl, Serena was really into how much ex-sex Blair was continuing to have. Serena said she’d wait for Dan for ‘As long as it takes” and then couldn’t wait long enough to hang up her phone. Full Story

The Royal Wedding! I’m still buzzing about that Prince William/Kate Middleton interview just now. Can we spend some time today on royal smut? And yes, we’ll fight about the Sexiest Man Alive too. He will be announced tomorrow. There’s also a lot of movie news, Black Swan buzz, The Fighter buzz, Christian Bale buzz, and heads up Twi-Hards, if you want to ask me about imprinting, I will answer. Full Story

I have been glued to BBC. Don’t lie. I know many of you have been as well. If only we could get ITV over here. ITV has the exclusive first sit-down interview and it will air at 7pm in London, 2pm ET/11am PT. Before that though there was the photocall and they did speak briefly with reporters while posing. Full Story

See? I knew it. I know her better than she knows herself. I know her better than she knows...anything. Here’s what I wrote yesterday about her pathetic engagement: You have two choices here to explain it: either that dumbass couldn’t wait to tell the world she’s not going to be left behind as a spinster or that dumbass’s opportunistic boyfriend exploited her at her lowest moment, proposed with a Ring Pop, and talked her into buying her own bloody engagement ring at Harry Winston. Full Story

Daisy

Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 16, 2010 08:55:12 November 16, 2010 08:55:12

Before The Great Gatsby’s Daisy, Lisbeth Salander was the most coveted role for women in Hollywood. Carey Mulligan lost out on that part despite being considered an early frontrunner. She was a late entry to the Daisy derby, coming into the mix only after several other names had been widely circulated, including Blake Lively. Full Story

Not Daisy

It’s not like Blake Lively wasn’t given a fair chance. She was probably given an UNfair chance. After all, in comparison to the other actors being considered for the role – Knightley, Portman, Mulligan, Hall, Johansson – how, really, has she demonstrated she’s even in their league? But Anna Wintour loves her (more on this later) and her agent is working hard to convince people that she can do more than just mumble, and so Baz Luhrmann, he agreed to see her for Daisy in The Great Gatsby. Full Story
