Ben Affleck

Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 15, 2010 05:43:26 November 15, 2010 05:43:26

Arguments for:- After the original Bennifer and the asskicking to his career, Ben Affleck has been able to successfully rebuild his image and is now a respected director. The Town was well received, he’s now working on a Terrence Malick film. And he’s already eyeing his next feature behind the camera- Much of this image rehabilitation is due to what has supposedly been a stable marriage to Jennifer Garner. Full Story

James Franco

Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 15, 2010 05:37:44 November 15, 2010 05:37:44

Arguments for:- He delivers an outstanding performance in 127 Hours and many say he will be nominated for an Oscar- He has been everywhere – on daytime television, on the festival circuit, on talk shows, on SNL, in comedies, able to straddle art house pictures, comedies, and major motion picture releases- He is supposedly a versatile artist, studying writing, directing, sculpture, and enrolled in every creative post graduate program available in New York- He’s beautiful- He is scandal-free Arguments against:- While Franco has certainly made inroads, he is still not mainstream enough- Some people think he’s gay- His artiness borders on annoying. Full Story

Robert Pattinson

Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 15, 2010 05:33:10 November 15, 2010 05:33:10

Arguments for: - His prettiness- His hair- Courting the Twilight fanbase: they put their cash money where his face is. It’s an automatic sale. And they are f-cking crazy enough to buy several copies for each person. Arguments against:- Pattinson currently has nothing to promote. With another year to go until the next Twilight film is released, the fever has abated slightly, or perhaps it’s just hiding in a crazy cave until the right time. Full Story

Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 15, 2010 05:27:00 November 15, 2010 05:27:00

He will be unveiled on Wednesday. Every year People Magazine crowns the Sexiest Man Alive. Every year the last few years, I’ve handicapped the possibilities, ending with a prediction. This year is particularly significant. It’s the 25th anniversary of the SMA. Which means the Milestone Man has to carry with him a certain gravitas, a stature worthy of such a claim. Full Story

Dear Gossips,

7 more sleeps, can you stand it? Or, if you’re like me and prefer the midnight screenings, only 6 more sleeps. Until what? You know. The review will be posted today. Many of you emailed yesterday about Taylor Swift’s “what” following her performance at the CMAs the other night.  Read Full Intro

Last night you were spotted out with your sister in Soho after taping The Graham Norton Show. Is it me or are you really tan? Maybe it’s the makeup and, well, you do spent a lot of time in LA now. You are in London for promotion for London Boulevard which opens in the UK on November 26th but not in North America until February which must be a bitch for you. Full Story

I Don’t Want to be Her Big Sister.

Written by Duana I was a Brenda Walsh fan. I wanted to be her. She was sassy, stand-up-to-parents-y, super hair and didn’t take crap. Plus it wasn’t just Brenda, it was so clearly Shannen Doherty herself. They were one and the same, and the fact that Doherty was intelligent and had graduated from Little House on the Prairie to 90210, much as I hoped metaphorically to do…I had a rock-solid girl crush from the age of 10. Full Story

Still errand-ing

I suppose that’s what we can call it for now. After all, no one knows if they’re dating, or not, only that they seem to be running household errands a lot together and seen often at the Best Western in Los Angeles she now calls home. They were errand-ing again yesterday. It’s now been a month since Carey Mulligan and Shia LaBeouf came to an end. Full Story

Written by Sasha Hi Sasha,I am short, very short I've heard Reese is too. I thought this coat looked very good on her, and I was wondering where I could get it and/or if you had any other winter coat suggestions for the vertically challenged forced to participate in the cold Canadian winter. Full Story
