Thank you Ken Paves! It’s been a long time since Jessica Simpson was let loose – how lovely of Ken to amuse us by bringing her out. Can you think of one client who actually looks good after leaving his chair??? How does he stay in business??? Here are Jessica and Ken at a photo shoot for their cheap ass weave, manufactured of course for the same folks to who rock long fake nails and still wear their nude liner 2 shades darker than the lipstick. Full Story

Buble at the Junos

Still not enough to make me quiver but at least now I “get” it. Why some of you have him listed at #1 on your Freebie Five. I can understand, I can understand in my head, but not in my loins. Because even though his proclivities are certainly suspect, absolutely “the Bube” had a certain charm. Full Story

Bride Wars – yet another in a long line of chick flicks that have characterised Kate Hudson’s career. Attached are new photos from the set. Note Kate’s hair disaster, presumably the result of feuding with her best friend played by Anne Hathaway who has also decided to get married at the same time. Full Story

The Second Coming Goes to Washington

Lainey Posted by Lainey at April 8, 2008 10:17:41 April 8, 2008 10:17:41

Angelina Jolie is in Washington – Brangelunatics freaking out because she took the kids to the Air & Space Museum. Also attended an event with her BFF Mariane Pearl and showed off the Second Coming. Beautiful colour on her, non? How long before Star Magazine and/or Life & Style or In Touch Weekly start making up stories that Angie and Mariane are lesbian lovers? Give it 6 months. Full Story

21 Jump 21 Years

Can you believe it’s been 21 years? Since 21 Jump Street? Johnny has aged well. Obviously he’s older but it’s far from a Keanu Reeves situation, you know? With all that weird bloating around his face? Not like that at all. Johnny’s all clean faced for his new film – pictured here signing autographs for fans. Full Story

Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst are working on a new movie together. Now that she’s been released from rehab, she’s in New York getting ready to shoot and also ready to fall for her co-star. I willed for it back in January Full Story

Gwyneth at the Food Bank

Lainey Posted by Lainey at April 8, 2008 08:57:31 April 8, 2008 08:57:31

Iron Man opens in 3 weeks. As such, Gwyneth is making her rounds. And dropping in at the Food Bank doesn’t hurt the image either. Well bred, upper crust girls like Gwyneth love the food bank because the concept is easy to understand: Poor people are hungry. Hungry people need food. Here’s my girl at a Food Bank benefit in New York last night hanging out with her beautiful, tall, thin friends Helena Christensen and Christy Turlington (not pictured). Full Story

George & Elle Together at Last

Lainey Posted by Lainey at April 8, 2008 08:54:06 April 8, 2008 08:54:06

It has long been my assertion that Elle Macpherson is perfect for perfect for George Clooney and they were together last night in London as George continues to promote Leatherheads in Europe. They were not alone unfortunately – George caught up with Matt Damon and a variety of local socialites all came out to pay their respects to the new king of Hollywood. Full Story

The GMD’s latest setback

Lainey Posted by Lainey at April 8, 2008 08:49:00 April 8, 2008 08:49:00

Trouble ahead. Steel yourselves. No wonder he’s been ingratiating himself to Disney and even to Sumner Redstone – looks like United Artists is in trouble and the GMD is scrambling. Originally intended for a summer release, Valkyrie was then pushed back to October. Now it looks like the film has no chance of competing against the season’s award heavyweights which is why it’s just been announced that Valkyrie will not see the light of day until February 2009. Full Story
