Um. Excuse me. Did we know that Mimi is on Match.com! That totally deserves an interrobang. (Thanks Duana)
According to PEOPLE, Mimi collaborated with Match to premiere the video for Infinity, featuring Jussie Smollett. In the “In Her Own Words” section of her profile, she quotes her lyrics to Dreamlover. Under “Sports & Exercise” she lists swimming and yoga. Swimming?
Oh, you mean the time she got into the pool in a black floor length gown?
Also, she calls herself a “social drinker”. Right. Note also that one of the photos she’s using is of her pouring champagne in one of her dressing rooms (taken from a scene in the video which, obviously, is full of amazing).
Click here to view Mimi’s full profile. It’s a blessing. She’s blessed us. Again.

Eddie Redmayne has joined the Harry Potter family. It was confirmed yesterday that Eddie will play Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. The first film of the planned trilogy will be released November 2016 and is being written by JK Rowling herself. In case you didn’t know – and, um, why wouldn’t you, didn’t we ALL go to Hogwarts??? – these movies are prequels to the story we’ve practically memorised; Newt Scamander wrote the Fantastic Beasts textbook that Harry, Hermione, and Ron – but really only Hermione – studied at school. You remember when there was a Beyonce and a Sasha Fierce? FKA twigs has one too. Only, hilariously, hers is called “Melissa”. I don’t know why that’s so funny to me. And she claims it’s not a “weird alter ego” which is maybe why it’s “Melissa”. Full Story

So says Paul Feig, the director of the all-female Ghostbusters reboot. In an interview with AlloCine while promoting Spy, Feig said the only way he can see to remake Ghostbusters is to reimagine it with women. I love that he says this, that the only way it makes sense to him is as a female-driven project. Full Story

Taylor Swift, as we know, as we’ve seen, repeatedly, every day, everywhere, is friends with everyone. With one exception: Katy Perry. OK two. Katy Perry and John Mayer. Here’s what Lorde’s ma posted: it's @lordemusic as the dancing girl emoji 💃🏽 Full Story

It’s a momentous day. There hasn’t been a day like this in almost 20 years. Today, Judy Blume releases her new book, In The Unlikely Event. I know a lot of you feel the way Lainey and I feel about that. That Judy Blume ushered you through your childhood, was accessible but not overbearing and condescending in your adolescence, and somehow seemed to be a friend who’d always been there in adulthood. I read a great article over at Slate this weekend: How Entourage went from critical darling to cultural punching bag. Basically we’ve changed since Entourage first launched. We’ve asked for more in the way women are represented, not just in relationship to men, but in the way we ask for better from them. Full Story
