This f*cking movie. I hate this movie. It’s cynical garbage motivated solely by Sandra Bullock’s desire to win another Oscar. You know she’s in Oscar-mode because she’s gone blonde, just like she did for The Blind Side. I have a high threshold of pain when it comes to bad movies, and even a bad movie can be entertaining, but there is nothing entertaining about watching a movie so devoid of personality as this. Full Story

George Clooney showed up to support Our Brand Is Crisis (Sarah’s review will follow) on Friday, arriving at the carpet early to hang out with fans and to work as much of the press line as he could. That’s standard Chairman behaviour and we see it every time he comes here. When there’s a job to do, he does it, and he makes sure that other people can do theirs too. Full Story

How’s this for a late Friday story… Calvin Harris got papped in LA the other day leaving a low budget massage joint. According to Radar, he was there for 2 hours. They charge $40/hour for their services. According to community reviews on Yelp, the services include a happy ending. Full Story

Rihanna hosted a block party in New York last night. And it was the fourth night in a row that she hung out with Travis Scott who performed at the event. They seemed very close all night and word is they’re definitely hooking up but haven’t yet put any labels on whatever it is that’s going on between them, if it’s anything more than just Cool For The End Of The Summer. Full Story

US Weekly has another exclusive on Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx who are apparently still dealing with each other on the low. Apparently she went to meet up with him at a hotel recently in LA wearing a hat and wig to disguise herself. And supposedly she was in Vegas with him in August after he performed there. Full Story

Jake Gyllenhaal has been on a TREMENDOUS run these last few years, throwing down ace performance after ace performance, including a Hall of Fame-level Cinematic Weirdo in Nightcrawler’s Lou Bloom. In Jean-Marc Vallee’s Demolition he offers another take on the Cinematic Weirdo, this time starring as Davis, a repressed, buttoned-up financier whose life implodes after his wife dies. Full Story
