Maria just emailed me wondering if Bradley Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio share the same lawyer. The two are good friends, as you know. And they both date models, as you know. And now they’re both suing French magazine Oops! Leo is suing Oops! for making up a story about him knocking up Rihanna. Full Story

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kelly Rohrbach were photographed kissing in New York this week. Or it could have been Toni Garrn. Bar Rafaeli. Blake Lively. Gisele… As ONTD pointed out (scroll down on that link), this is his thing.  It happens so often, you wonder why Leo, who is pap-allergic, can’t seem to avoid it. Full Story

San Andreas is exactly as advertised on the tin—The Rock fights an earthquake, and The Rock wins. Hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions, of people die in the process, but the important thing is that if you go see San Andreas, that movie will hold up its end of the deal and show you The Rock fighting an earthquake, and winning. Full Story

Jennifer Lawrence: not a skin and not a prim

I’m still thinking about that THR article on Skin vs Prim yesterday. Click here for a refresher. Actresses were classified into two groups: Skins and Prims. The piece failed to point out that for the most part, the Skins are older, while a majority of the Prims they cited are still in what Hollywood has decided is a sweet spot age for actresses: under 30. Full Story

James Bond in a tactleneck

There’s a new TV spot for Spectre, the next installment in the Bond franchise. (Every time someone asks me when superhero movies will be over, I remind them that Bond has been going strong for fifty-three years and watch the light die in their eyes.) It’s mostly recycled from the teaser trailer Full Story

Inside Out was beloved in Cannes. Like unanimously praised. Pixar has made a movie about what it’s like to be inside a young girl’s head. Pixar has made a movie about mental health. Pixar has made a movie that encourages young people to talk about their feelings. Pixar has a made a movie that stars two women, Amy Poehler and Mindy Kaling. Full Story

As Lainey mentioned yesterday, Johnny Depp is 52 and filming his 84th Pirates of the Caribbean movie in Australia. He’s also on a contrition tour, shaking hands and kissing babies so he doesn’t get in more trouble for smuggling his dogs into the country. Full Story

Jurassic World opens this weekend. There is no doubt it’ll win the box office, which would be Chris Pratt’s third #1 after The Lego Movie and Guardians Of The Galaxy. The only question is: how big? Some are saying that domestically Jurassic World will gross up to $125 million. That’s on top of an estimated $250-300 million internationally. Full Story

Dear Gossips,

Today is Johnny Depp’s 52nd birthday. Do you think he thinks about the number? Conveniently a new poster for his upcoming film, in which he plays Whitey Bulger, has been released. Meanwhile he continues to work on Pirates 5 in Australia, monitored by drones. TMZ has the video. Not sure who sent the drone over but I also happened to read an article this morning about how “dronies” are replacing selfies.

Let’s say you’re out for a bike ride. Or a date. And you have a drone. The drone will follow you, shooting the entire time. It’s the new extension of vanity. Because now you can be the star in your own film. This is your own movie montage. Drones might be especially advantageous for Twi-Hards. Remember those Ian Somerhalder fans who were scolded by him for waiting outside his hotel on what he called “my day”? (Click here for a refresher.) Now they can just drone him down the street from the comfort of the coffee shop a block away. Click here to see Johnny Depp getting droned.

Yours in gossip,

Lainey
