Queen Elizabeth showed up at the England-Australia cricket match today in London. She spoke with the players for an hour after arriving late, then went to her box for a bit, and then left early, prompting many to speculate that she was rushing off because Katy Cambridge was in labour. So far, there’s been no confirmation that Kate’s birthing the future king or queen. Full Story

Oh sweetheart, put the bottle down… US Weekly just posted the most INTERESTING exclusive. Apparently George Clooney tried to get with Eva Longoria. Even though he was still with Stacy Keibler, he was all over it and kept telling Eva that he’d break up with Stacy Keibler to be with her. Full Story

This might give you hope, Twi-Hards. Or…never mind. Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult broke up just as she was picking up momentum during award season. They were photographed out for dinner after she won. Click here for a refresher. Full Story

“"Julia needs a lot of hugging and holding." – Garry Marshall, director of Pretty Woman, on Julia Roberts when she was 23. 23 is when Julia Roberts called off the wedding, just days before she was supposed to marry Kiefer Sutherland. You forget, sometimes, being that she’s become so haughty and sanctimonious, that Julia Roberts was That Girl. Full Story

In other EW-related news, they also had a teaser for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 featuring Jamie Foxx as the villain, Electro. He looks a million times better than Rhys Ifans did as the Lizard, so the sequel is already one up on the reboot. I especially like the way his brain is pulsing in the three seconds in which we get to see him. Full Story

Ben Affleck directed Jon Hamm in The Town, released in 2010. Back then I didn’t know that… Hamm had it in him the way Affleck had it in him. Oh but he does. Can you imagine that wingman situation? Middle-aged women would moist themselves as hard as they do at a Twilight convention. Sure, I coulda used a different word there, but “moist” is so much more evocative, non? Hamm hosted the ESPY Awards last night. Full Story

The Bridge 1.2: “It doesn’t work like that down here”

Last week I got sucked into FX’s new show, The Bridge, and a bunch of you emailed to tell me that the Danish original is so much better than the US remake. That may well be, but I’m holding off on watching the original. The Bridge ought to stand on its own and I’d rather judge it on those merits than be comparing it to the original. Full Story

Selena Gomez was at the ESPY Awards last night. She wore red Dolce & Gabbana. You know what I’m starting to notice about Selena Gomez? I feel like every dress she puts on, no matter how different it might be, always looks the same, has the same effect. Why is this? I think I prefer her in casual clothes. Full Story

Is it weird that I am comforted by strangers I’ve never met on Twitter? Does it make a difference if they’re famous strangers? Because they are all saying the same thing this morning.   “Tatiana Maslany was robbed.” It was always the longest of long shots, of course – a Canadian show on BBC America, (largely) unknown actress, and a Sci-Fi premise. Full Story
