Lainey’s always looking out for what she thinks is a wonky eye in photos taken of her. She’s not overly vain in the sense that she needs numerous retakes like some people do, but it’s on her mind when a shot is taken and she’ll usually make a point of evaluating it when she looks at a photo of herself. And as her husband of many years, I’m way past pretending that the wonky eye isn’t there when often it clearly is. We’ve analyzed it and concluded that it’s the way eyelid meets her nasal region (if we’re going to get a little more technical here) and the eye itself is just a victim of angles.

But there’s a cure and it’s not surgery. It’s not any kind of treatment. It’s keeping a 4x6 of one of these photos of Ebola at the amfAR event last night. Now THAT is some serious wonk-eye, and Michael K’s (Dlisted) nickname for her (Wonky McValtrex, I believe?) is making complete sense right about now. Is the right one lazy? Or is it the foot-long fake eyelashes that are creating the illusion of wonk-eye? Food for thought on this fine Friday.
