Hi Hayley, I've never been athletic in my life, but I'd like to start running.  I can walk all day and I try to get in at least half an hour each day, but I'd like to step up my game. I have mild arthritis in my knees which has shown improvement since I started walking daily and lost weight, but it's not severe, so I don't think that should deter me. Full Article

Hey Hayley, Over the past year and a half I have developed horrendous eating habits - mainly a consequence of taking the easy option, takeaways and also medium to high calorie lunches at work. Over the past month or so I have reduced takeaway orders and reduced the fizzy drinks again and also stopped with the mid-week-evening-junk-food-binge (crisps are my weakness). Full Article

I’m back from the trip of a lifetime – 3 weeks in Europe for my best friend’s wedding, and I’m ready to get myself and you guys, fit for the fall. Now people ask me all the time how they can stay in shape (or more importantly not get fat) while they are away on vacation. We all know going to the gym is not always an option because do we really want to waste the limited time we have inside a gym rather than seeing the sights? It can be easier to stay fit on some vacations but when you are moving from place to place and spending your days touring, eating the local cuisine and drinking the local wine more often than not, it can be tough to squeeze into your pants upon your return. Full Article

I receive a lot of emails asking me about exercise and I am constantly helping people make time in their day to do more, especially to work out. Hi Hayley, I have a question about rest days. I have a VERY, VERY sedentary office job and I can work out pretty much every day without feeling fatigued. I switch it up quite often during the week, anything from snowboarding to hot yoga to running to spin class to weight lifting. I don't feel like I'm overdoing it, besides the boarding my workouts last only about an hour. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I recently found out I am pregnant (yay).  I like to exercise including running and weight lifting.  I know my workouts need to change but I’m not sure exactly how.  I was hoping you could share some exercises that were safe for me and my baby. Thanks!
