Robert Downey-Jr Gossip
Robert Downey-Jr gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
Every year Newsweek puts 6 of them in a room and turns on the video. They interview each other, they discuss their “craft”, they squirm, they show off, they hide, they joke… it’s fascinating. Especially with the current crop: Frank Langella, Brad Pitt, Mickey Rourke, Sally Hawkins, Robert Downey Jr, and Anne Hathaway. Full Story
Even before Robert Pattinson cut it off, there’d be no chance against this. RDJ’s hair can deliver a Shakespearean monologue without rehearsal. It can be bad ass but gentle, sensitive but not limp, heroic but not over confident, RDJ’s hair is personality and charisma and a great soundbite all at the same time. Full Story

Well this is a new Sherlock. Couple of stills from Guy Ritchie’s upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie have been released – RDJ looking like he’s in the middle of a scrap with his shirt off showing off his tight abs. That’s what I’m talking about. LOVE the way his belt sits on his waist. Full Story
There she is – one of our first looks at Rachel McAdams on the set of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes. Not exactly loving the hair but that’s how they wore it then, right? Madonna and Guy Ritchie, a quickie divorce, reportedly not battling over money, and agreeing to share custody of the children. And of course the British press giving Guy all the credit for managing the situation without much McCartney-style drama. He went out for dinner last night with his two boys. A few pap agencies happened to be there. Coincidence or conspiracy?
Well played Guy Ritchie.
Thank you to everyone who emailed about RDJ’s lunch box – late day post yesterday, scroll down to get caught up. Apparently it’s a pelican case, used to protect camera equipment. He also happens to be wearing a scarf that comes free in the December issue of UK In Style. Why is this cute to me? For more on the scarf, click here.
It’s Friday! New articles all day. Have a great weekend!
Yours in gossip,
Please. Like it’s even a contest, right? But RDJ makes Jude Law almost cool. Like… oh, you’re worthy of his company? Ok maybe I want to look at you and not say something disparaging. You can have a Downey pass. That’s the benefit of friendship with the RDJ. Here they are after a day of shooting having dinner. Full Story
Entertainment Weekly has released its list of 25 Entertainers of the Year. And, not surprisingly, the magazine is MUCH closer to the target than that old windbag Barbara Walters and her 10 Most Fascinating. She did it, you know? She actually picked Tom Cruise. TOM CRUISE? What exactly has the GMD contributed this year? Even his Presentation of Katie Holmes is getting old!!! Anyway… With the exception of Kid Rock, EW’s list is totally arguable. Full Story
Arguments for: Everyone loves a comeback Iron Man was a smash hit, the sequel is due in 18 months Landed coveted role of Sherlock Holmes Try to mask your shock here but in some circles there is actually talk that they just might campaign for him in the Best Supporting actor category… for Tropic Thunder. He went out to a gallery last night with RDJ and Jude Law – male bonding as a release after a long day’s work on set. As I mentioned yesterday, here in London, it’s pro-Guy all the way. The classic obnoxious American superstar and the unassuming, low key, middle class British boy who is fighting back against her… What’s interesting though is that it’s pretty common knowledge Guy’s background.
