Credit to her that she has the spirit to try different looks and isn’t all like Elie Saab and done. And when someone is willing to push, sometimes the results aren’t ideal. I don’t hold this against her too harshly but it wasn’t her best. It’s not that sheer sides suck but that the cut-outs and the high collar made her look low-breasted and wider than she is. For the SAGs she wore Zac Posen in dark blue. A lot of people really loved it. Me I wasn’t as excited. Zac Posen hasn’t excited me in a long time. Or maybe it was because I was still trying to forget the night before – Amanda in orange, a dress that looked so cheap and so insubstantial, I wonder if Roland Mouret is a little embarrassed.
