I really need some help here.  a few months back i met a guy online – we live in two different states.  We've shared pics and skyped and but you can never be sure about the chemistry or how the person will REALLY be once you meet.   He came to visit me here in Portland last weekend and I wasn't feeling him as much in person. Full Article

Sasha Answers: My Friend is a Sloppy Second

Sasha Posted by Sasha at November 27, 2012 19:12:04 November 27, 2012 19:12:04

Hi Sasha, So, a close friend of mine has been in this "relationship" for almost five years.  The thing is…. he has a girlfriend and they are serious (as serious as looking for an apartment to buy together as an investment.. which fell through but for other reasons). My friend A, she's 23, and this guy, B, he's 29, have been friends since forever but it wasn't until he was with this other girl, M, that they started seeing each other as something more than friends. Full Article

Sasha Answers: Breastfeeding in public

Sasha Posted by Sasha at November 26, 2012 19:38:45 November 26, 2012 19:38:45

I have a question as to whether it's socially acceptable to breastfeed in public? My family and I recently went to a local restaurant (which let me set the stage - it was a local BBQ joint, not a fancy, high end establishment). My infant daughter was getting fussy during our dinner and needed to eat. Full Article

Sasha, I need your advice. I know this is going to sound superficial, but it is bothering me a lot. I'll start by saying that I am happily married to the love of my life. I am so happy with my life and I hope I don't come off as sounding resentful at all. We want fours kids all close in age so I've been getting pregnant when each baby is 6 months old (currently expecting #3). Full Article

Sasha, my husband and I are both 30 years old. I met him when I was 22. We dated a year, tried long distance, broke-up, and remained friends for years. At 27, we got back together and began a long distance relationship that spanned 2.5 years until I finished my master’s degree. I immigrated to the UK a few months later and we married. Full Article

Sasha Answers: Sister War

Sasha Posted by Sasha at November 12, 2012 17:44:51 November 12, 2012 17:44:51

Dear Sasha, My two best friends of 15 years who are sisters, are in an argument. I am unsure of what to do, because I agree with both to a certain extent and I don't want either to feel that I am choosing one over the other or that I am backstabbing them. I have stayed neutral so far and have not talked about one to the other, but I am unsure of how long I can keep it up without hurting any feelings. Full Article

Sasha Posted by Sasha at November 6, 2012 17:53:03 November 6, 2012 17:53:03

Dear Sasha, I've been friends with this girl for 15 yrs.  During that time she married, had kids, and is now divorced.  I should mention that I'm still single and have no kids.  Now that she's newly divorced, guess what?  Suddenly, she wants to hang out almost every week end that she's kid-less (when they're with her ex), so a deluge of text messages come my way to hit the bar scene. Full Article
