Sean Penn Gossip
Sean Penn gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
Have you seen 21 Grams? Terrific movie, beautifully filmed. Trailer is below. Sean Penn and Naomi Watts, their chemistry, it was hot, it was heartbreaking, and now they’ve been brought back together for Fair Game playing real life husband and wife Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame, chronicling that CIA/White House disastrous mess from a few years ago based on Plame’s book by the same name which accounts for the sh-tty title. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson doing not much of anything yesterday in LA. And they weren’t screaming at each other on the street either. This apparently has become a frequent occurrence. Lilo finds some drama to get dramatic about, Sam tries to placate her then blows a fuse, creating more drama on top of Lindsay’s pre-existing manufactured drama. Full Story
These photos, they kill me. At the Cesar Film Awards in Paris – the French Oscars – Sean Penn as usual looking crusty and bored, especially in the audience. But not when Emma Thompson is around! She makes my life. And the way she looks is the way she is – hilarious, unpretentious, freespirited, the best. Full Story
You've been emailing about this today: Sean Penn having no time for his wife Robin Wright despite the fact that she seemed overcome by his win. At one point the Academy featured a really sweet camera angle of him in profile with her face in the background...only he seemed like he could care less. Full Story
It’s quite a group isn’t it? Can you picture Mickey sliding in there? No… Mickey is not one of them. Adrien Brody is very much one of them, even though he’s a hypocrite douche. Like, did you hear him during the presentation? While introducing Richard Jenkins, he opened with “not that I’m a fan of google”, like it was beneath him to be a famewhore. Full Story
The Oscar nominees’ luncheon went down yesterday – no Meryl, no Brange. Meryl doesn’t have time to fly all the way in from New York for a luncheon. She’s Meryl Streep. And it’s like her 15th time, right? But why no Brange, since they’ve been campaigning so heavily for so long? Well, the Slumdog backlash has been working hard for them already. Full Story
Last night Clint Eastwood received the Modern Master Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival. It is the festival’s highest honour and it was Sean Penn who presented. Sean owes a lot to Clint. Clint directed him in Mystic River which, as you know, brought Sean his Oscar. It was Clint’s campaigning that helped seal the deal. Full Story
Have finally watched most of the SAG clips. Thankfully didn’t miss much. Meryl of course was delightful but for smutty tingles, the best speech of the night belonged to Sean Penn. Several reasons… First – Frank Langella’s bitchface! Angelina Jolie has kicked off an awards season trend! Only Frank’s, if you can believe it, is much worse. Full Story
Katie Holmes presenting Best Actor? Why? Because she’s married to the Gay Midget Dwarf? Because her Little Sci is Hollywood’s most popular baby? Because the MiniVan Majority wants it to be? Yes, yes, and yes. At the very least then, Katie knew her role. She did not walk the carpet. But of course not. Full Story
Forget Robin’s saggy sateeny dress. It’s unflattering yes. But they look great together. Whatever holds it together. And it’s HIM. Sean Penn is all sex. There was never a question as to why he’s the love of Madonna’s life. Of course he was. The danger. The attitude. The artist. Full Story
Many of you emailed to ask about James Franco at the Globes on Sunday. He was nominated in Colin Farrell’s category but wasn’t there. No one from Milk was there. And Milk did not receive a nomination for Best Picture. Collective boycott? Well it’s not like Sean Penn wasn’t in town. Here he is, the Best Actor, all smiles and very jovial, yesterday at the LA Film Critics Association Awards, considered a much more reliable predictor of Oscar than the Globes. Slumdog cuties Dev Patel and Freida Pinto also showed up as did Sally Hawkins fresh off her win for Happy-Go-Lucky. Everyone’s campaigning.
Speaking of Colin – thank you for enthusiastic response to this article. Colin or friendship? Colin or Duana? Check the poll.
