Have you seen Hustle & Flow? If you haven"t, you must. It"s perversely hilarious and heartbreaking all at once. Anyway, for the benefit of those who haven"t had the pleasure, Terrence Howard plays DJay, a low down ghetto pimp with only two ho"s on the bankroll. Lex is his more competent moneymaker. She gets to do her thing at a peeler bar and rub up on her clients and shake her assets in their faces and that pays the rent. DJay"s other employee is Nola (beautifully played by Taryn Manning) who drives around with him all day until a john pulls up and, for the bargain price of $40, takes her in his car down an alley and gets off on her little body.
So one day, Nola questions her lot in life. No longer happy with running a cheap dirty trick in some dude"s station wagon, Nola wants to join Lex in the club. She wants to dance. And DJay, the all sage, says, "girl, you ain"t got enough equilibrium to get up there and do your thing. You"d come crashing down. This thing here is your only option. Now shut up and stop thinking." Now what"s my point? My point is that I have been watching Sienna Miller for months without being able to put my finger on what it is about her that throws up that low classy vibe. And finally, finally, I"ve figurd it out. Because like Nola, Sienna Miller is a back seat bitch. The kind of girl who will wear couture and try her hand at a stage production and even walk a red carpet or two but who will never elevate herself beyond the trashy slum in her soul. She might be British but it don"t mean she ain"t white trash. And as this photo (sent to me by Shannon F - thank you!) of her at the UK premiere of Casanova clearly illustrates, Sienna Miller is Federline fuh life.
