Hi Hayley, I cannot do a pushup on my toes and I don't think I'm alone. I am a fit person that exercises 5-6 times a week with a combination of weight lifting, running (easy, speed work, hills, tempo, and long runs), and swimming. I am not a petite person (5'10" 175lbs) but this shouldn't stop me from being able to do great pushups. Full Article

Hi Hayley.  I'm a grazer, I don't eat a lot at one meal, but I'm constantly eating little bits.  An hour or two after a pretty healthy dinner, I'm hungry again.  I know that eating before bedtime isn't great for you, and usually I'm on track calorie wise until then, but then it's all over and I end up eating ice cream or a big bowl of sugary cereal. Full Article

It is that time of year again, when holiday themed coffees are everywhere. I know I look forward to my local coffee shop becoming decorated for the festive season, but it seems each year this happens earlier and earlier, and with my peppermint latte addiction, I need to be careful. Hello Hayley, How do you feel about pedometers? I would like to invest in a good one but I am on a budget. Dear Hayley, I'm 27 and for a long time, I was a yo-yo dieter. I struggled with binge eating, and would also go through long stretches where I'd become obsessed with eating healthy and exercising and would lose 25 pounds. Hi Hayley, I'm thinking of signing up for a full marathon in May of next year. My goal is to finish in under 4:30. What's the least amount of running I can get away with to reach this goal? A bit about me: I'm in fairly good shape. I currently run 2-4 times a week (mostly 30-40 minute HIIT workouts on the treadmill), I will sometimes (but very, very rarely) go out for a long run - maybe up to 15-20km), spin a couple times a week, lift weights a couple times a week, and go to various boot camps 2-3 times a week. Full Article

Hayley, I have been training for a first marathon with a goal to finish in under 4:45-5:00. I have been following a program with a local running group, running about 3 times a week, although sometimes less. I have only a few weeks to go to my race. I have managed to complete the peak long distance run and almost every other long slow distance run, even though I haven't been 100% consistent and never ran more than 3 times a week. Full Article
