Hayley, Please tell me how your client went from 5.5mph to 7.5mph? I started running maybe three years ago after you mentioned it in a column but I just have not gotten any faster. It’s still super fun and easy to stick with but I cannot get any quicker. Also, any ideas on what to do with long, sweaty, post-long run hair? Squeezing in a three hour run (marathon training) is tough enough so spending another hour washing and blow drying is just not going to happen. Full Article

Hayley, I just saw pictures of Janet Jackson and she looks great. I am a young 53, and struggle like hell to lose 50lbs. What are some of these celebrities doing in order to lose weight so fast? She had a child and was somewhat larger even before that. Now, she is back to looking like she did in her 20's!! What gives? Thank you R ___ What gives is that she worked her ass off. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I have a question for you about neck and spine tension. I have an overactive trapezius and my neck regularly gets stiff and full of knots after a day of desk work. I'm good at stretching and keeping my neck moving, but I don't have a clue about how to strengthen the rest of my back/shoulders around the trapezius. Full Article

Hi Hayley!  I need some help please! I am 10 weeks post C-section and need help deciphering what I should be doing to get back in shape and shed this baby weight. I was cleared to workout at 6 weeks however, I have been battling an infection in my incision. I am on antibiotics and on the mend and very anxious to get back into shape. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I broke my toe on the long weekend and it looks like the healing process could take up to 6 weeks. I'm wondering if you have any recommendations for ways to still work out when I am supposed to be staying off my feet as much as possible. My usual weekly workout routine is a combo of doing classes at the gym (boot camp, cardio/weights, circuit training), and shorter runs (5-6km), with occasional yoga. Full Article

Hey Hayley, A couple years ago I really got into fitness in a serious way. I had a trainer come a couple days a week to my condo and am now working out five times a week (combination of HIIT, plyometrics, weight training and functional training in addition to some classes like spinning or yoga). Full Article
