Hey Hayley! I've got a question that I guess is a bit different than most of the people who write to you. I'm wondering if you can help me gain weight. Back story - I'm in my late twenties, 5'5", and have always been on the slim side. Hayley, I'm sure it's not possible... but... is Garcinia Cambogia legit? It's all over the twitter, and I spy a bottle on the desk of a colleague. Dr Oz says it works. April showers bring May flowers, or at least that is what they tell us so we can make it through the rainy and dreary spring here on the West (or wet) Coast. Getting outside in the rain never used to bother me and I almost looked forward to a wet hike or run through the trails but maybe it is because I am getting older that the thought of getting wet is the last thing I want to experience. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I've never been athletic in my life, but I'd like to start running.   I can walk all day and I try to get in at least half an hour each day, but I'd like to step up my game.  I have mild arthritis in my knees which has shown improvement since I started walking daily and lost weight, but it's not severe, so I don't think that should deter me. Full Article

Hi, I am in desperate need of your help! Actually I am writing on behalf of my mother as well who is going through the exact same thing but I will use my specifics to give you the general idea… Up until autumn of this year I have always been 120 lbs. However, due to some emotional stuff that seemingly could only be cured by more terrible food, I ended up putting on 15 lbs. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I recently moved to Vancouver (yay!) and am trying to get into running since there are so many beautiful places to run. Even when I was in excellent shape (I used to be a swimmer) I really sucked at running. So I downloaded this "couch to 5k" app which is basically a walk-to-run program, and it is great so far! Here's the catch: I am only 2 weeks in and I am already getting painful shin splints. Full Article

Hi Hayley, Over the last few years I have lost about 55 lbs – and have maintained that more or less for about 2 years (I’ve gained and lost the same 5 or 6 lbs). With my upcoming wedding in late August I have bumped up my exercise and nutrition routine with the hopes of losing a few inches and toning up so I look great in my dress. Full Article

I get asked a lot how to stay in shape while traveling and since spring break is here and I am heading off to London and then Ireland to visit and travel with my best friend, I thought it was the perfect time to share how I prevent those pesky vacation pounds from piling on.
