Hey Hayley! So I'm a new runner - and I read a little while ago the post about Robin Thicke's new song being awesome for running (I agree!) - can you suggest other songs for running? I'm doing 3 races this year - all just 5K, but aiming for a half-marathon next year, and I need some serious oomph when I run solo! Thanks! Hi Hayley! I have been doing a lot more running this summer and while I do yoga and cross fit to strengthen myself, I am still getting "runner's knee" from overuse. My only solution is cutting running for a few days but I hate the prospect of not being able to run in the beautiful summer weather. Full Article

Stand up paddle-boarding (or SUP’ing as the serious paddlers call it) is probably one of my favourite activities to do in the summer and I am not alone. Celebs like Jennifer Garner, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey, Robert Pattinson, and Olivia Wilde (attached) have all been paddling on a sunny day. Full Article

I receive a lot of emails asking me about exercise and I am constantly helping people make time in their day to do more, especially to work out. Rarely do I ever talk about the importance of relaxing and  making time to shut off once in a while is just as important as making time to exercise. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I'm pretty confused about post-workout recovery drinks. I'm working on losing a significant amount of weight, more than 50 lbs, and focusing on 10 lbs at a time. So far I'm down 12 lbs! I'm a young woman who is relatively new to working out in a gym. I worked previously with a personal trainer, but now I'm on my own. I didn't have this problem when I was with my trainer, but I'm feeling intimidated by all of the guys in the weight room. I don't fear anything specific - I'm just very self-conscious with my 8-pound free weights while the dudes are doing the heavy lifting. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I just ran my first marathon two weeks ago and although it went well and I feel like I trained appropriately for the challenge I still feel like I'm not back to 100% yet.
