Hi Hayley, What sort of fitness routine would you suggest for someone who has weak joints (due to hyper flexibility)? I'm relatively fit, but I've stopped running because my knees and ankles hurt too much from it, and I've haven't been lifting significantly because of back, wrist, and shoulder injuries. Full Article

Hi Hayley - I have been on a pretty extensive weight loss program for the last year. I have lost about 50lbs so far and am now working on my last 15. However I have noticed that over the last month or so I have really plateaued which is frustrating!! I am wondering if you have any advice to get my weight loss back on track. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I love reading your column. I have a question. I have been trying to make exercising and strength training a regular part of my routine (in addition to healthy eating) to tone up and lose weight. I was finding that working out after work was not working unless it was pure cardio like jogging or biking (I hate strength training) as I would just make excuses after work because I was cranky, tired or hungry. Full Article

Lainey, Could you/Hayley collaborate on a post about what to look for in/expect to pay/expect to get from, a trainer. I love reading her posts, and am super jealous that you have someone like her in your life. I don't want to go around paying a bunch of people money to find someone that is that good of a fit for me. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I'm 27, almost 28, 5'6" and about 125 pounds. I consider my weight to be pretty healthy and I work out about 4 times a week--cardio all 4 days and weight training usually 3. Anyway, while I'm a pretty thin person, I have almost always had a lower belly "pooch" my entire adult life. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I am 29, 5'7" and about 145 pounds.  I have always been pretty active but for the past year or so have really not been exercising consistently.  I ordered the Insanity workout and started it about 45 days ago.  While I have toned up some (mostly my shoulders/arms and calf muscles) I have not lost any weight yet. Full Article

Hi Hayley, I have a diet question for you.  I signed myself up at a local hot yoga studio a couple months ago and have been loving it.  But to avoid fainting in class, it is really important to eat a balanced meal before I go.  For the evening classes this isn't usually a problem, but I have been attending a lot of morning classes and find it really hard to eat something substantial enough to sustain me through the class. Full Article

I told myself that after I had completed the Boston Marathon I was going to challenge myself with something completely different as I felt as though I had reached my potential with running (well, for a little while anyways) and I was starting to crave something new. I will do another marathon again but for now I will be riding this... Full Article

Hi Hayley, I'm a 26 year old woman.  About two years ago I fell down and ended up injuring my back.  The injury turned into a serious back spasm about a month after the fall.  I recovered from the spasm after a few weeks (the doctor gave me a muscle relaxant), but I've continued to have problems ever since then. Full Article
