Smutty Fitness Fashion: LOLE

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 15, 2012 18:57:35 May 15, 2012 18:57:35

Without naming names, I’ve been having a quality problem with a certain brand of active-wear. The clothes are stylish but they fall apart. They never used to, but they do now. At that price, the falling apart is not acceptable. Especially not after such a short time. So I broke up with them. And now Lolé is my new jam. Full Article

Hi Hayley,I hope you can help me with my fitness goals. I don't have a huge amount of weight I'd like to lose. I mostly need to tone up a bit. I'd ideally like to lose about 10 pounds in two months or so. But here's the kicker, I'm struggling with disordered eating. It's probably a mild form of yo-yo, where I eat very little for as long as I can until I snap and binge and then purge. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Post work-out quick makeover

Hayley Posted by Hayley at May 9, 2012 13:22:37 May 9, 2012 13:22:37

We all live busy lives and try to fit in as much as we can into our days and one of the first things to go when we are short on time is our workout.  I am fortunate that I live in workout wear and it does not matter if I have sweaty hair or no makeup on at work so that means that I can squeeze in my workout whenever I have a break. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Training Smart After Illness

Hayley Posted by Hayley at May 3, 2012 13:58:27 May 3, 2012 13:58:27

Hi, Hayley,   I was training for a 10-mile spring race and all was going well — till I got struck down six weeks ago by a sinus infection that has since become "walking" pneumonia. I of course dropped training when I realised I was well and truly ill (although I pushed on a couple weeks longer than I maybe should have), but I wasn't able to simply drop my full-time job, taking three spring-semester classes (a second degree is an insane idea, btw), doing freelance on the side and a trip across the Pond to see my Londoner boyfriend. Full Article

For the past couple of weeks I have been challenging all of you LaineyGossip readers to make change, find a challenge that is outside of your comfort zone and work towards accomplishing a new goal.  However, if you have not made it past at least three weeks you are likely finding yourself right back where you started. Full Article

Hi Hayley,I'm 28 years old, 5'3" and my weight without consciously eating healthy and exercising is 144 over the last 2 - 3 years. Three letters are all I need to use to describe my Boston Marathon:  H-O-T.  The race directors were warning those who were not prepared, had not acclimatized to the heat or those who had medical conditions not to run and for the first time in history they offered all runners the opportunity to defer. Full Article

Hi Hayley,I’m 27, in pretty good shape and a chronic asthmatic.  I have just signed up to do my first half marathon with my girls in October and am really excited.  However, I am finding it so tough to run any more than a mile before I feel like my chest is going to explode and start coughing and wheezing. Full Article
