Hi Hayley, I am confused. When it comes to diet/lifestyle, I know not every diet is for everyone. I know for some, paleo is the way to go, for some it's vegan or gluten free, and for others it's just simply a balanced and clean diet. It does get confusing, with so many conflicting theories and "facts" that you try to take in, when trying to make the right choices for yourself. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: The Maintenance Phase

Hayley Posted by Hayley at April 7, 2016 20:09:06 April 7, 2016 20:09:06

Hi Hayley, Everyone talks about losing weight, but what if you've lost the weight and now need to maintain?  It doesn't seem like anyone's giving advice about that. I've recently lost 70 pounds the old-fashioned way - paying attention to what and how much I eat, and moving more. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Keeping your curves

Hayley Posted by Hayley at April 1, 2016 14:57:27 April 1, 2016 14:57:27

Hey Hayley, I think a lot of fitness articles and gurus don't realize that some people like their round curvaceous hips, though they have now accepted ample bums. I am a petite woman with a true hourglass figure that has recently put on weight in my midsection due to my fibroids just being raging assholes and yeah 6 months of nesting as a newlywed. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Shoulder pain

Hayley Posted by Hayley at March 23, 2016 14:13:13 March 23, 2016 14:13:13

Hi Hayley! I'm now a year out of Grad School, and I've beaten 95% of the bad habits I picked up while there. Last July I got back into the gym, and it was tough going, but while I haven't lost all the extra weight I feel so much better. Except I overworked myself when I started back, and promptly gave myself bursitis in my left shoulder. Full Article

Hayley Posted by Hayley at March 16, 2016 16:11:33 March 16, 2016 16:11:33

Dear Hayley, I just saw a photo of myself and realized that I need to lose 30lbs. It was a rude awakening. Since turning 30 a few years ago, the extra weight has crept on so slowly that I haven't even really noticed. My schedule is really busy (working, in the midst of a PhD, lots of volunteer commitments, healthy social life, etc. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Red carpet arms

Hayley Posted by Hayley at February 22, 2016 19:21:12 February 22, 2016 19:21:12

With the Oscars just around the corner, it is time to put your body through the paces to get it red carpet ready.
