The Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) needs your help in its drive for a $100K grant as a part of the Pepsi Refresh Project. LAPS is a small grassroots volunteer driven non-profit organization working to save animals. Since 2003 they have helped more than 10,000 stray, lost and unwanted pets in their community. Based at the Patti Dale Animal Shelter in Aldergrove, LAPS staff and volunteers use a progressive and humane approach to care for more than 1500 dogs, cats and large animals each year. All animals that are cared for by LAPS benefit from environmental enrichment, frequent exercise, nutritious food and a lot of TLC provided by staff and volunteers. Medical care is also available for all those in need to ensure that each animal has the best chance at a happy and healthy life. Click here to help.
