Was staring at my closet last week and hated everything. I know you can relate to this. All I wanted was a short blazer, rolled sleeves and prominent shoulders, preferably with a cute lining, over skinny jeans, big bangles and converse. By Monday at TIFF you give up on the heels.

Rushed over to H&M to find one I’d eyed a couple of weeks ago but was too lazy to try on. Dumb me. Because my size is now sold out.

Don’t EVER delay when it comes to building your fall wardrobe.

Once again we’re sending two of you to H&M with a $100 gift certificate to update your autumn look. If you’re interested, email inquiries@laineygossip.com with H&M Autumn as the title before 11:59pm Pacific on Wednesday, September 30th, 2009. Two (2) gift certificates are available. Standard contest terms apply. Good luck!

Here are a few words from H&M describing their fall looks.

THE HOTTEST LOOKS THIS AUTUMN by H&M

Individuality is the key word this autumn at H&M, with a mix of styles that really puts personality at the front of fashion. It comes from the choice of trends which both contrast and compliment each other, like the androgyny of dandy-ish tailoring matched with the soft romance of an organic cotton romantic blouse, or the graphic futurism of body-skimming pants worn with the gilded opulence of a decorated top. By mixing the power of a suit with the nostalgia of folkloric clothing and the fun of futurism, you’ll get a wardrobe that really matches the different sides of your personality all season long.

It’s all about the 21st century woman with H&M’s Modern Classics, a smart and feminine range for the urban professional who wants quality as well as style. It’s where you’ll find the perfect shift dress, blazer, cardigan or pant, all in co-ordinating colours that can take you from day into night. The thin belts underline the waist as the focus of this collection which will let women live their lives in style.
