Sponsored Tingles: Women of Wonder #2
As mentioned Tuesday, Wonderbra has sponsored a series of posts (and a contest – more on that below) on LaineyGossip profiling four women who, in my opinion, have rediscovered their wonder. For some it’s a revived career, for others a new relationship (or an end to an old one), or it could simply be a fresh new attitude. Last time we featured Julianne Moore (click here if you missed it), whose recent strategic cameos and inspired performance in The Kids Are All Right have re-established her Hollywood strength.
Today it’s about Halle Berry, the marvellous Halle Berry who recently graced the all important September issue of American Vogue, and will soon be preparing for a run on Broadway in The Mountaintop after a few years out of the professional spotlight. On a personal level, 2010 has also been a year of monumental change.
Berry ended her relationship with baby father Gabriel Aubry earlier this year. The two are keeping it civil, raising daughter Nahla together, and recently she’s fired up a hot new romance with that French lothario Olivier Martinez. I don’t agree with the choice, but I don’t worry too much about her either. And that’s the difference between today’s Halle and, say, someone like Jessica Simpson. It’s what I’d like to think we women learn as we grow. That we’re not going to not make mistakes. We will do dumb things. We’ll just figure it out a lot faster. Which is why Halle and Olivier don’t concern me. She’s good.
And now about this contest…
Wonderbra is offering up $1000 in prizes and you get to choose how to spend it. Three prizes are available ($200, $300, and $500) and winners will be selected from the entries received between now until the end of the contest period (October 25, 2010). Contest rules apply. Enter as often as you wish but no more than once per day. Check the contest microsite here for entry and contest details. Good luck!
