The Lakers opened against the Clippers last night and as usual Staples Centre was full of stars including Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend all loved up courtside, a Posh-less Becks still growing that sh-t all over his face, Sacha Baron Cohen on a rare evening in front of cameras, and the ubiquitous Jack Nicholson, unofficial mascot for the Lakers and, some would argue (with the exception of last year), the Oscars. Full Story

Charlize Theron showed up at Sundance with Stuart Townsend to promote her new project Sleepwalking which she produced. Charlize plays a woman who gives up her children to foster care. It is not a biography of Britney Spears. Not feeling her hairstyle… you? As you can see, Charlize is all smiles and unusually spirited…especially considering the cameras are around. Full Story

But first – all this drama about him dropping out of or getting fired from The Lovely Bones. Page Six said it was because he was intolerable to work with, aggravated the hair and makeup people, generally acted like a diva on set. Have not heard anything to confirm or deny the report although there has never been any precedent to suggest that Ryan’s professional comportment is anything like Mike Myers which is, in a word, douchey. Full Story
