From Misty: on hermaphrodites

I"m not a fan of Cameron either but I wanted to know if the hermy thing is true?? I also heard years ago that Jamie Leigh Curtis was born with both parts, is it true?? Dear Misty, First, let me cover my Chinese ass. I have no insider knowledge of Hermy Cam’s dual parts. Nor do I have any idea if Jamie Lee is cut from the same genetic mold. Diaz just looks like a she-man to me which is why I keep calling her a dogface hermaphrodite. As for Jamie Lee, the rumours have circulated for years about an extra or missing chromosome and I think my friend Dr. Beth even referenced it to me at some point but the bottom line is this – there has never been official confirmation and no, the fact that she adopted her children doesn’t count. However, I’m pleased to tell you that I am obsessed with hermaphrodites in general and it all started when I read a book back in 2002 called Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, an epic novel about a girl who was born in between and how her/his peculiar dilemma could be traced back to a scandalous family secret from way back in the old country. If you are remotely interested in the subject, I suggest you pick it up. For 3 days I was walking around imagining mystical body parts and race wars in Detroit. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
