United Way and vitaminwater – a brilliant combination
Over the last three years, we’ve partnered with vitaminwater to advance the cause of gossip through our Faculty of Celebrity Studies tour. Yesterday afternoon, in support of the United Way, the Faculty convened at Coca-Cola headquarters in Toronto…just in time too – there was an election which resulted in the end of the Ford era (for now), and the biggest gossip story to drop in Canada since, well, Rob Ford.
Then Jennifer Lawrence decided to put a stop to her boredom and broke up with Chris Martin.
And we discussed what constitutes cheating where Beyonce and JayZ are concerned and why neither might not care about it that much.
We compared and contrasted George Clooney and Nickelback. That turned out to be a punchline.
But no one asked me about that Taylor Swift blind riddle…
Coca-Cola has been supporting United Way in Canada for more than 25 years. Since 1991, Coca-Cola & its employees have been supporting local communities through their annual United Way campaign and fundraising event sponsorships. Their efforts have raised over $1 million for the United Way.
The price of admission for last night’s Faculty event, while modest, was a minimum $10 donation to the United Way. It’s small efforts like that and others that Coca-Cola has invested in over the years, including participating in Days of Caring activities throughout the city, volunteering on United Way boards, and engaging employees in grass roots fundraising efforts over the years that produced bigger results.
If you would like to make a contribution in the spirit of the Faculty that we engage in every day on our blog, please click this link to support Coca-Cola’s United Way community, or here to find the donation link that means the most to you and your community.
