As you’ve probably heard, Terrence Howard has dropped out of Iron Man 2. Apparently he wanted too much money and a personal ass wiper assigned to him at all times. Marvel told him to beat it. It’s now confirmed that Don Cheadle has stepped into the role of Rhodey for BOTH the Iron Man sequel AND The Avengers taking him well into 2011 and possibly more. Full Story

George Clooney arrived solo at Critics’ Choice last night which was surprising considering he’s been trotting that Sarah Larsen out everywhere these days. Given that she was a cocktail waitress and a Vegas hired party girl before he plucked her, I can’t imagine she would have had anything better to do … so maybe he wanted it to be a night out with the boys? All of Toronto is on PipWatch. If you’re interested, his weekend consisted of workouts at the gym, Saturday night at the Hazelton where the staff appeared to be starstruck and giddy – even after the celebrity overload during TIFF – and Sunday brunch with Don Cheadle at Eggstacy. Everything in a 3 block radius. And NO Shelf Ass.
Also…No fraternising with Hollywood Ebola either, despite her many attempts at the photo op. Rumour has it, her people have called his people trying to arrange a “meet”. Word is he told her to jump up his ass. Give the man a Grammy for that.

The terrace bar is seriously the most beautiful spot on the Riviera. If you have a chance, you must go. We went last night, Michelle Rodriguez showed up first. So word is she’s a lesbian, right? Again the Palais was humming for the photo call. Huge crowds gathered beyond barricades and screaming when the cast walked back and forth across the walkway.
