Mark Ruffalo Gossip

Mark, Amanda, and Troy

Ethan Hawke was at the roof lounge at the Hyatt two nights ago, possibly last night too but my toes refused to cooperate. Michelle, who has been in love with Troy Dyer since 1994 lost her sh*t a little bit. He did look good. Gaunt…but good. And not even smarmy. Wasn’t working on an erotic poem scribbled hastily on a bar napkin. Full Story

TIFF Blooms

Mark Ruffalo has like 8,000 movies in the festival this year! Seriously…he’s a busy dude. But so underrated. By all accounts he is delightful in The Brothers Bloom which premiered last night at TIFF. Haven’t had a chance to screen it but I can’t imagine that Mark and Adrien Brody together for 2 hours will be terribly tough to endure. Full Story

TIFF Besties: Mark Ruffalo & Adrien Brody

There are few actors who are liked by EVERYONE. And there is no journalist or publicist I’ve talked to in two years at TIFF who has anything negative to say about Mark Ruffalo. He’s a doll. So nice and so kind and so considerate and so normal and SO in love with his wife. eTalk hosted the official Blindness after party on Saturday at our headquarters at 299 Queen. Full Story

Cate in Pink

I was greatly disappointed not to have seen Cate Blanchett at TIFF and sadly wasn’t able to attend the screening either. However, early reviews for The Golden Age have been decidedly mixed and while her repeat performance at Elizabeth is undoubtedly strong, it is actually her portrayal of Bob Dylan in I’m Not There that is garnering the most attention, not to mention the inspiration behind Mark Ruffalo’s hilarious outburst... Late on the Bandwagon

Mark Ruffalo –I apologise for sucking. For being late on the bandwagon. For taking so long to figure it out. But now that I have… I love him. He is divine. One of the most engaging, most endearing, loveliest celebrities out there, maybe because fame came late. Maybe because he was allowed to be an actor instead of a star like George Clooney, who told my colleague Ben Mulroney that if he had hit it big before his 30s, he would be shooting crack into his head. Joaquin at the Window

Am in my room at the Intercon looking out the window. There’s a terrace one floor below. Jaoquin Poenix and Mark Ruffalo – I can almost touch them. Like literally open the window and speak without raising my voice and he could hear me. Should I ask him why he’s so bloated and tell him that he looks rough? Truthfully though, even still, he’s still pretty f*&in’ sexy. Full Story

TIFF: Love Triangle Looms…and Clooney too

As mentioned last week, TIFF this year is boasting a killer lineup with Cate and Clive and Colin and Gosling already confirmed to show their latest prestige projects. More confirmations just in, more super A List names will be touching down in Toronto in September. Full Story
