vitaminwater: create your flavour, go to Sochi!

vitaminwater is celebrating its 5th birthday in Canada this month!

As you probably know if you read the site on an even semi-regular basis, vitaminwater Canada supports gossip, GOOD Gossip, and we’ve been working with them closely over the last two years on the Faculty of Celebrity Studies tour and most recently, our #everydaybrilliance profiles. I’m a little biased but I will say, sponsored or not, since my name is on the labels, that I love the taste of the zero flavours  -- gogo is my favourite.

My bottles at attached (see image). New ones are coming soon!

And in celebration of vitaminwater’s anniversary, you can claim your own bottle too by creating your own flavour of vitatminwater.

Here’s how it works:

Between June 17 and July 15 visit facebook.com/vitaminwater.  There you will find an app that allows you to build your own custom bottle of vitaminwater. Choose a flavour, create a name, and even select the colour and a pattern for the bottle. At the end of the contest period, vitaminwater will decide the new limited-edition variety inspired by the entries received and will be in stores across canada in January 2014.

That’s mega mega bragging rights, can you imagine? Walking into a store and basically pointing out your own flavour?

And what’s in it for you? Other than being able to tell your friends that you are indeed a tastemaker, literally, every flavour design entry received enters the designer into a draw to win a trip for two to Sochi 2014 where you can cheer on Jesse Lumsden, vitaminwater’s new athlete partner for the 2014 Games. Have you seen Jesse Lumsden? You need to Google Jesse Lumsden right now. Thank me later.

So head over to facebook.com/vitaminwater to start your design or www.vitaminwatercanada.ca to learn a bit more about the full line-up of vitaminwater flavours.  Go!

And if you didn’t know already, there are nine vitaminwater flavours and three vitaminwater zero flavours to choose from.  They are sodium free, and contain no artificial preservatives, colours, or flavours.  And while they’re not a replacement for taking vitamins or a healthy, balanced lifestyle/diet, each bottle contains a nutritionally significant source of the vitamins listed on the label.  But mostly it’s a great tasting way to stay hydrated and has the added bonus of vitamins and minerals.

So drink it when you’re bored of whatever you normally drink to stay hydrated. Try it at work when you hit the 3pm wall or XXX with lunch (not that kind) or whenever you on the go(go) and you need that extra little something.
