Hudson's Bay Company Smythe Jacket

This is the jacket you saw Rachel Bilson wear after picking it out at the Hudson's Bay Company celeb lounge at the Games. It’s the most coveted coat, it’s been praised among the NY fashion elite, and it hasn’t been easy to locate. Here’s a bit more info about the Smythe and its “Point Blanket” design from Hudson's Bay Company:

Steeped in Canadian history and tradition for 339 years, The Bay underscores the authenticity of the brand through its iconic Hudson’s Bay Company Point Blanket and elevates “Canadiana Cool” with new designer collaborations. The Point Blanket is a nostalgic and instant reference to the early days of trapping and trading in Canada. It is the most iconic textile ever created in Canada and evokes the feeling of heritage and community. We tried to preserve the idea of wrapping a blanket around the body, much like First Nations People did in the 1800s. The oversized hood gives the coat a Contemporary feel, while protecting from the Canadian chill.
