A-Rod was asked about Cameron Diaz in a new interview.

“I don’t like talking about my relationships, but I will tell you about CD: She’s probably one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met, and just an amazing light.”

Which means he totally dumped her ass, messed with her head and her heart, and is now patting her on the head, like, what we had was good, girl, but what we had is over; you need to move on now. Because an ego-raging douchebag like that can only say the kind things when he’s the one who left. Right? You know That Guy. A-Rod is That Guy.

And, God! She let herself, you know?

I know we all make mistakes. We all make HUGE love mistakes. But there’s a point you reach too, after  those mistakes, when the desperation finally becomes anger. Anger would be good here. If only Cam could read his words and feel anger, see how he’s patronising her, and get over it already.

Look back at the photo of her feeding him the popcorn last year. At her face, full of longing in that moment, as if to say that her only reward in life is to please him. Is she the girl who’ll get over it already? Or is she still the one who will hear about his comments and hope that it means he wants her all over again?
