We ran into Ryan Phillippe a couple of times during Oscar week. It’s like he’s like a faded high school quarterback. It’s never easy. To be so popular...and then not popular anymore and to keep loving the popular girl only to watch her popularity eclipse his. Rumour has it, he and Abbie Cornish broke up because he was unfaithful. No one knows the timing of the infidelity but I would bet it started when she started getting more scripts. Think about who he’s up against now: Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Jakey G...Ryan is like Biel. There’s simply no room.

This is Ryan out and about yesterday looking much less carby, wearing his pants better than he’s worn them in a long time. I have never felt his quiver but if I were one of those who moists for him, today would be a good day.
