Are we over-squadding? Are we over squadding? I think so, yes. But before we kill it, here’s the squad that’s keeping it alive.
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are currently shooting Passengers in Atlanta. Atlanta this weekend hosted the Oddball Comedy Festival featuring, among others, Amy Schumer and Aziz Ansari. Amy and Jennifer, as you know, are friends and they’re writing a movie together. Aziz and Chris are both from Pawnee. So they all hung out. And, like Taylor Swift, they decided to make us jealous about it on social media.
So…they all slept in the same house together? And Aziz is working on the movie with them too? This, apparently, is what they came up with:
OK I’ve watched that 8 or 9 times now and I still laugh. It’s the chuckle from off-camera the first time Aziz swings in. It’s Chris’s perfect model pose. It’s the way he subtly turns his head halfway through. And how he realised, oh yeah, I have a job here. I’m the pusher.
Come on. You’re not done with squads when this is the squad, right?
