My favourite of the evening. Understated, effortless, age appropriate, healthy, and would you believe she’s almost smiling? Watching her tonight, as she walked on stage, I was surprised to see that Ashley Olsen has a certain cool. There’s some bitch, there’s some bite, there’s a confident little swagger when she walks. She knew she wasn’t rockin’ the flashiest ensemble of the night and you had to know that it was deliberate – a seasoned veteran who understands that you always pace out the season, you never peak too early, you always save the best outfit for the best event. And remember…the VMAs are 10 days away.
