Oh well now this is just cruel.

So you know Blake Lively has covered US Vogue twice. And you know Victoria Beckham has covered US Vogue never. Because Anna Wintour loves one and hates the other.

Now Blake is covering UK Marie Claire. And in the interview, Blake boasts about her friendship with Wintour, namechecking the famed editor and breezily dropping the kind of details you’d usually expect to come from someone like Gwyneth Paltrow:

"I was speaking with Anna Wintour and we were just talking about different fashion houses and I said, 'I love Chanel,' and she said, 'You should come with me to the show.’ I also said I loved Dior. She said, "Okay, well I'll take you to the Chanel and Dior shows and we'll meet with Karl and John afterwards.' We got to spend a lot of priceless time together. Oh my gosh, riding around in Karl Lagerfeld’s Rolls-Royce with the top down. Insane!”

She knows which ass to kiss, non? It’s the kind of ass that can elevate you to Style Icon...because fake tits are fashionable, just as long as they look natural...ish...? Style Icon is a title that Blake is happy to assume because she actually thinks she is:

“I’ve always loved fashion. That’s why I don’t use a stylist. Number one, it’s such an expression of self.”

Blake Lively’s expression of self: I have a great rack. Please look at it. And my legs too.

But it’s working. To the detriment of the Posh Ambition. Here’s Victoria at Heathrow today to do some work before presenting her “collection” at NY Fashion Week
