Blake Lively has arrived in the South of France ahead of the opening of the Cannes Film Festival. She will be at the Palais as part of the cast of Woody Allen’s Café Society. And also, perhaps, as a L’Oreal ambassador as the brand is an official partner of the event.
We last saw Blake on the red carpet at the MET Gala exactly a week ago in, in my opinion, the worst dress of the night. Time for a comeback then. Especially since you always go big in Cannes. Cannes is not the time for restraint. Also, she’s pregnant. There was no belly-cupping at the MET Gala but, like I just said, Cannes is nothing if not over-the-top. And belly-cupping at Cannes in some kind of ball gown is about as extra as you can get.
You see the texture of her hair here? I love this texture. It’s hard to do on the first day though. This is, like, day 2 or 3 texture. After your hair has been styled and waved, and you throw it up in a bun at the end of the day, and you sleep on it at night, this is the only way I’ve been able to achieve it.
