There are a few typically tacky Marchesa pieces but there are also several looks here that I not only don’t hate but that I think I might like, like a lot, even if we’ve probably seen them before maybe a few seasons ago in Paris?

At this point Marchesa might be more interesting than Versace. Think Kate Hudson’s dress at the Golden Globes. Right?
As for Blake, I’m into everything she’s working with until we get to her feet. These shoes tell you everything about why she’s not a proper stylist even though she insists on styling herself. It’s not the colour, it’s the f-cking platform with the round point…which was fine in 2008/9 when everyone was wearing the Brian Atwood Maniac but why are we doing this NOW???
