Seems like a good way to start the day after shouts - a blonde wavy Rachel McAdams shot with Owen Wilson in Paris last night on Woody Allen’s new feature Midnight in Paris. After completing this film, Rachel should move into promotion for the upcoming Morning Glory with Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton. I like the trailer for it. I like how she bounces off that crusty f-cker Ford.

And then there’s a new project just confirmed: Rachel will star with Channing Tatum in The Vow about a couple in a car accident and she ends up losing all memory of their lives together. Roll your eyes yes, I did too. But Rachel has yet to fulfill the early promise of her career. In fact, after the hype of The Notebook, when everyone wanted to work with her, it’s been a string of disappointments while, frankly, a new up and coming, beautiful spunky actress gets introduced every week.

So now it’s time to turn it around. A tearjerker with Channing Tatum who, despite the fact that he looks like he can barely slap his hands together, has become known of late to be a recent box office star isn’t a bad move. Especially not when she’s banked a Woody Allen film and an ensemble comedy with several Hollywood veterans. Reminds them of her versatility.
