As you know, he’s less gushy than the Jolie in interviews. More guarded, more reticent to talk about their relationship.

But when he does… you know I’m buying. I love the Pitt Porn.

Brad on the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone, timed of course with Benjamin Button. As you’ve seen from the past few weeks, he wants this one badly. He is selling it hard. And during this interview he’s a lot more candid about his lover than he’s been in the past. Especially when defending her.

You’ll recall the New York Times piece a few weeks ago calling Angie out on her media whoring? Click here for a refresher. When asked about it, Brad took exception:
"It sounded to me like the story made Angie out to be manipulative in some way. She is savvy. I get defensive. [They're] talking about not only the woman I love, but one of the people on this planet who I have the greatest respect for. I think she's as honorable as anyone I've ever met.”

Best Christmas present the Brangelunatics could have ever asked for! He loves her! He said it out loud!

Yes he did. In fact, he says it several times, particularly when explaining the nature of their relationship.

How the Pitts approach conflict:
"Angie and I do not fight anymore. What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of her mother [actress Marcheline Bertrand in 2007], is that there's going to come a time when I'm not going to get to be with this person anymore. I'm not going to get to be with my children anymore. Or friends, people I love and respect. And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now. I don't want to waste time being angry at someone I love."

sh-t. Obviously they are much more enlightened than my husband and I will ever be. Because we scrap all the time. And loud. Before we were married, we had to go to these marriage classes at church. And they diagnosed our “fight style”. We were the chili peppers. Like mad rage that subsides quickly leaving lots of damage. These days he likes to poke my head when I’m steaming. Then he puts two bent fingers on each side of his temple and slowly unravels them to imitate my horns. Devil horns when I’m angry.

But the Pitts don’t get angry. What’s to get angry about in the House of Shiloh?

And finally, some tender moments from Brad re: the Jolie. This is my favourite. Made me quiver:
"She's definitely more experienced (when it comes to flying). Yeah, she's badass.”

He also echoes what she said recently about Mr & Mrs Smith. It’s his favourite movie of hers:
"Because you know ... six kids," he says. "Because I fell in love."
